Dermot Kennedy first took to touring in 2015 with an appearance at the Electric Picnic at the Stradbally Hall Estate on September 6. He took a year off to hone his talents and reentered the concert scene with 7 live shows in 2017.  And since then, he’s been taking to frequent concerts per year with an average of 50+ concerts every year. This, of course, excludes the 2020-2021 concert years when Kennedy worked fewer concerts due to the COVID-19 Pandemic.

You might expect most of these concerts to have taken place in the UK and Ireland regions, but Kennedy has quickly earned a name for himself on the international scene. That’s why many of his concert tours now include destinations in the United States and other regions outside of Europe.

One thing that came up early in his career is his amazing vocal work as well as his talents as a songwriter. In fact, some magazines note that he has a reverberant tone that enhances the melancholic music he plays.

Currently, he is going through a tour that includes US headlining appearances in support of his upcoming album. Fans expect that they’ll get a first chance to listen to his new material ahead of its release, which makes this a true treat for fans of this talented artist.
